Mel Kierath

Occupational Therapist and Professional Counsellor

Mel is a registered Occupational Therapist and Professional Counsellor with more than 18 years’ experience. Mel has been in private practice for this time and also worked part time as a school counsellor for 15 years. She enjoyed helping adolescents and their parents navigate the school environment and its unique stressors. Mel has a particular interest in mental wellbeing and working with both adolescents and adults who experience a wide range of psychological issues. Mel works with couples who are wanting to address issues in their relationship, negotiate a separation or work on co-parenting. Mel is particularly proficient in moving people from distress into action and fulfilling their potential.

Mel has lived in western NSW for most of her life and has intimate knowledge of regional stressors and is a passionate advocate for this population.

She is trained in:
